HDB Marine has put together DYI kits for wood docks. All the galvanized hardware including bolts are included in the dock kit. The lumber and decking can be bought locally. Our DYI dock kits are set up for 4”x6” frame construction and 2"x6" joists. These dock kits are also set up for 16” on center joists to accommodate popular composite decking. We have carefully selected the required components to build any of the following three configurations. However, depending on which configuration you choose to build you will have parts remaining after construction. For example: If you build a "Left L Dock" or a "Right R Dock" you will not use 1 Backing Plate, and 1 Female T Connector. For a "T Dock" the only part you won't use is 1 Outside Corner Female.
